Truckee Meadows Quilters
Truckee Meadows Quilters, a not-for-profit organization with approximmately 150 members, has been promoting fabric arts since 1978 in the Reno Sparks area. Their mission is to encourage and promote quilt making and related arts through education opportunities, lectures, demonstrations, workshops, and classes.
Truckee Meadows Quilters sponsors and supports charitable quilting activities and promotes the appreciation and knowledge of quilts. The organization is active in many community organizations, donating quilts to various facilities, and St. Mary’s Hospital.
For many years, Truckee Meadows Quilters have displayed a quilt exhibit at the Downtown Reno Library as part of Artown. Due to COVID-19, for 2021 this exhibit has been converted to this online gallery with an accompanying online artist reception.
