Library closures and access issues
Due to staffing shortages, the Incline Village Library will be closed on Saturdays through November. Due to construction on Wedge Parkway, the South Valleys Library is currently accessible only from the north, through the Reno Ice parking lot and South Valleys Regional Park.

School & Event Visits

Due to ongoing staffing shortages, Washoe County Library staff will no longer be regularly available for outreach appearances. For the time being, our focus must remain on keeping Washoe County Library locations open, providing free public services, and keeping library materials readily available.

We hope to resume outreach service as soon as possible, and we’d like to invite you to visit us at any of our 12 Washoe County Library locations.

Collaborative Programs

We partner with numerous community organizations to bring outstanding programs and services to you. For information about upcoming programs and events, please visit events.washoecountylibrary.us.

Unfortunately, the Library is unable to accept event proposals at this time.

Distributing Information

The library is happy to provide information about upcoming library programs to your organization. We are also happy to distribute flyers, posters and other information for nonprofit, arts and cultural organizations at our branches.
