Northwest Reno Library to Close for Repairs
The Northwest Reno Library will undergo heating and cooling replacement and roof retrofit which will necessitate closing starting Wednesday, May 6. The branch is expected to reopen in late summer.

Duncan/Traner Community Library is a 3,100 square-foot, joint-use library in Northeast Reno, located between Glenn Duncan Elementary and Traner Middle Schools. During school hours, the library functions as the school library for Glenn Duncan Elementary School.

After school hours, the library is opened to the public as a branch of the Washoe County Library System with full access to WCLS materials, databases, and services. We offer a collection of over 25,000 items including books, DVDs, music CDs, graphic novels, and periodicals for all age groups. In addition, we have four adult internet and eight youth internet computers, all with word processing capabilities.
