Washoe Impact Award Winners Announced

Washoe County releases names of winners at 2018 Washoe Impact Awards

Reno, Nev. Oct. 18, 2018.  The 2018 Washoe Impact Awards, a new and exciting way to honor employees and the programs that impact the community, was held tonight in the Washoe County Commission Chambers.

The top four awards were selected from 14 finalists from county programs that were nominated by employees in the following categories: Integrity, Effective Communication, Quality Public Service and the Manager’s Award for Commitment to Excellence.

And the winners are…

• Washoe Impacts EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION Award Winner: Career Discovery Day
• Washoe Impact QUALITY PUBLIC SERVICE Award Winner: Electronically Certified Marriage Certificates
• Washoe Impact MANAGER’S CHOICE FOR COMMITMENT TO EXCELLENCE: Early Literacy/Reading Programs
