County’s Alarm Registration and False Alarm Reduction Program switches vendor

Reno, Nev. August 31, 2018. Washoe County, in collaboration with the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office, is excited to announce new vendor, CryWolf False Alarm Solutions (CryWolf) to reduce the number of false alarm triggers in Washoe County.

Washoe County officials will be switching to CryWolf to improve customer service effective September 4, 2018.

Per a Washoe County ordinance, since 2009 the county has been working to reduce the number of false alarm calls that are responded to by Washoe County Sheriff’s Office deputies. Responses to false alarms divert law enforcement resources, potentially from crimes in progress, other emergency situations, and time spent patrolling assigned areas.

During this transition to the new vendor, Washoe County officials ask residents to be patient and call Washoe311 should they have questions or concerns.

To contact the new vendor, CryWolf/The Washoe County False Alarm Reduction Program, please call (855) 664-4324 or email washoe@superion.com

For more information, account inquires or to pay a bill, log on to www.crywolfservices.com/washoe.

Payments can also be mailed to Washoe County False Alarm Reduction Program, PO Box 399056 San Francisco, CA 94139-9056.

For Washoe County inquires, residents can call Washoe311, by dialing 3-1-1 from any phone.
