Downtown Reno Library Elevator News
Due to ongoing construction, the elevator at the Downtown Reno Library is currently not in service. Computers and restrooms are available on the main level for patrons who are unable to use the stairs, and staff can assist with retrieving materials from other levels.

Washoe County hosts Take Your Sons and Daughters to Work Day.

Reno, Nevada. April 1, 2015. Washoe County is inviting our media partners to get video footage of Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day at the Washoe County Complex and interview Washoe County leaders. 

Washoe County employees and their child(ren) are invited to the Washoe County Administrative Complex, Bldg. A lobby at 8 a.m., Friday, April 3, 2015, to kick off this year’s event with a brief welcome and light refreshments.

The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Team, Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District Chief Charlie Moore, and staff from the Washoe County Library System and the Health District will welcome the kids.

What: Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day

When:  8 a.m. on Friday, April 3, 2015. 

Where: Washoe County Administrative Complex, 1001 E. Ninth St, Reno, Building A

 While Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day is generally observed the fourth Thursday of April, the County has scheduled the event for Friday to coincide with the Washoe County School District’s spring break.
