Holiday Closures
On Wednesday, December 24, all libraries will close early — at 4 pm — except the Gerlach Community Library, the Verdi Community Library and Nature Center, and the Duncan/Traner Community Library, which will be closed all day, and the Senior Center library which will close at its usual time of 1 pm. All Washoe County Library locations will be closed Thursday, December 25, for the Christmas holiday.

All Washoe County Libraries will be closed Monday, September 6, 2021 in observance of Labor Day. In addition, the North Valleys Library will be closed Tuesday, September 7, 2021.

Book drops and online services will be available during the closure. Visit www.washoecountylibrary.us to place holds, download eBooks and audiobooks, access research databases, and more.
