The Downtown Reno Library Will Live Stream TEDxUniversityofNevada, Saturday, February 29, 2020.
Washoe County Library System has teamed up with TEDxUniversityofNevada to present the February 29 TEDx conference to our community free of charge. The day-long event will be live-streamed in the Downtown Reno Library Auditorium. If you have never attended a TEDx event, now is your chance – don’t miss this free opportunity for an inspiring learning opportunity.
This TEDx event will engage, entertain and inspire you with new ideas worth spreading. This year’s lineup includes more than 20 speakers and performers, with more local speakers than ever.
Washoe County Library Director Jeff Scott emphasized, “This is an opportunity for residents who might not otherwise be able to attend to view a livestream of an exceptional event. We are very fortunate to be able to offer this inspiring learning opportunity free of charge because of this unique and exciting partnership.”
TEDx events are about bringing people together from all walks of life to discuss ideas that have the potential to change the world in which we live. Washoe County Library System appreciates the generosity of TEDxUniversityofNevada in allowing us to offer this innovative program to our community. Whether it’s one talk or idea that strikes a chord, or the energy from the whole day of events, it will be difficult to attend without feeling inspired by something you experience at this TEDx conference.
Registration is required. Seating is limited, and will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. The event is all day, from 8:45 am to 4:00 pm. For more information about the speakers, visit the TEDxUniversityofNevada website.
