Speakers to Discuss New Ideas to Tackle Behavioral Health Crisis
Reno, Nev. Oct. 1, 2019 – Media members are invited to attend the More Powerful Together – Behavioral Health Forum on Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. at the Washoe County Commission Chambers. Breakfast treats and coffee will be available at 8 a.m. Interviews will be available for all speakers after the event.
Experts in the field will speak in this public forum to discuss why we’re in a behavioral health crisis, what’s being done right now in our community and how together we can help tackle this crisis. The event is hosted by the Truckee Meadows Healthy Communities’ (TMHC) Behavioral Health Council in partnership with Renown Health and Washoe County Health District.

Why: The public’s input on how to solve the behavioral health crisis is paramount, and dialogue between them and experts in our community is one step forward in addressing the issue.
