Holiday Closures
On Wednesday, December 24, all libraries will close early — at 4 pm — except the Gerlach Community Library, the Verdi Community Library and Nature Center, and the Duncan/Traner Community Library, which will be closed all day, and the Senior Center library which will close at its usual time of 1 pm. All Washoe County Library locations will be closed Thursday, December 25, for the Christmas holiday.
The National Weather Service has forecast a Red Flag Warning for North Western Nevada.
Hot, dry, and windy conditions will increase the fire risk. Please be cautious of outdoor activities that could start wildfires. Please use the link below to check the location of your project to reduce fire danger.
