Report will compare health factors between communities statewide and nationally

RENO, NV, March 18, 2019 - Northern Nevada public health advocates will examine and discuss the findings of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation’s County Health Rankings, Tuesday, March 19, from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm, at the University of Nevada, Reno Office of Statewide Initiatives, at 604 W. Moana Ln., Reno. The event is open to the public, and registration is free, however pre-registration is required. Interested persons can register at: http://cmetracker.net/UNEV/Login.

County Health Rankings are released annually by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and the University of Wisconsin Population Health Institute, with meetings like Nevada’s being scheduled simultaneously nationwide. Nevada’s rankings are being announced at the events in Reno and Las Vegas.

Last year over 200 people participated in the popular event statewide.
