Commissioners elect new Chair and Vice Chair

Reno, Nev. Jan. 22, 2019. During today's Washoe County Board of Commissioners meeting, Commissioners elected Vaughn Hartung as Commission Chair and Bob Lucey as Commission Vice Chair, for a term of one year. 

Today's Board of County Commissioners meeting convened off-site at the North Valleys Community Center, and included conducting a Strategic Planning workshop of the FY20 Washoe County Strategic Plan, to set the direction of county priorities for the next fiscal year.
