Largest event for seniors in northern Nevada promotes healthy aging Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2018.

Reno, Nevada. Aug. 30, 2018. Food, dancing, live music and a spectacular Eldorado’s Showroom Cirque Show will all be featured at Senior Fest 2018.

Organized by Senior Spectrum, the Washoe County Human Services Agency’s Senior Services Division is a proud sponsor of Senior Fest 2018 at the Reno Town Mall on Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2018, from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.

In its 23rd year, Senior Fest is a free event, offering more than 60 businesses and agencies to connect seniors and caregivers to resources and vital services. The goal of Senior Fest is to promote healthy aging and wellness for Washoe County’s elderly.

The following services and much more will be offered to seniors who attend:

  • DNA testing, courtesy of Renown Health
  • Mammovan
  • Flu shots
  • Medicare
  • VA  benefits information
  • Health insurance counseling
  • Info about assisted/independent living
  • Parks and recreation programs

What: Senior Fest 2018

Where: Reno Town Mall, located at 4001 S. Virginia St. 89502

When: Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2017, from 9 a.m.-2 p.m.

Senior Fest features live music with Krystal McMullen, Erika Paul and Swingin’ Jazz Kats.

Parking is available at the Reno Town Mall and the Atlantis Resort parking lot. Shuttle service is provided by Lakeside Manor. Transportation by RTC is available nearby on Route 1: South Virginia St., and Route 6: Peckham Ln.
