Holiday Closures
On Wednesday, December 24, all libraries will close early — at 4 pm — except the Gerlach Community Library, the Verdi Community Library and Nature Center, and the Duncan/Traner Community Library, which will be closed all day, and the Senior Center library which will close at its usual time of 1 pm. All Washoe County Library locations will be closed Thursday, December 25, for the Christmas holiday.

Fire Safety Updates

Please join Mark Beaudoin, Nevada Network of Fire Adapted Communities Coordinator, Chief Mike Brown, and Chief Charles Moore who will provide information on reducing the risk of wildfires, along with possible grant opportunities for the Verdi Community.
