Stuff A Bus Drive By Donation Drive for Washoe County seniors is May 11, 2018, from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m.
Reno, Nev. May 7, 2018. Local government and not-for-profit agencies are partnering for Stuff A Bus Drive By Donation Drive aimed at helping give community donations to northern Nevada seniors in need.
The northern Nevada community is being called upon to drop off new, unused items that will be loaded onto a Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) bus in front of Greater Nevada Field on Friday, May 11, 2018, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Only NEW, unused items are being accepted. Needed items include: jackets, fans, coats, sweatpants, toiletries, adult diapers, grocery store or pet store gift cards, and transit passes.
Those wishing to donate to Stuff A Bus but not planning on attending the Aces game can drop off donations by heading west on Second Street and pulling over in the lane closest to the ballpark. You can hand donations to staff without getting out of your car.
In conjunction with KOLO Cares, the Washoe County Human Services Agency, RTC, Catholic Charities of Northern Nevada, the Reno Aces, City of Reno, and City of Sparks are working collaboratively to collect donations.
