Library Closures
The Verdi Community Library and Nature Center will be closed Wednesday, September 16, due to the Floriston Fire. The Northwest Reno Library is closed for a heating and cooling replacement and a roof retrofit; it will reopen on Monday, September 21.

All Crystal Bay Avalanche Warnings Now Lifted

The significant avalanche danger has passed for the Crystal Bay/Third Creek area, and all Avalanche Warnings have been lifted. Citizens can resume normal activities. As always, caution on slopes above neighborhoods is recommended.
