**New Date** Public Workshop: Proposed Amendments to the Washoe County Development Code
Washoe County is looking for the public's input on two potential Development Code Amendments.
Washoe County is looking for the public’s input on two potential Development Code Amendments relating to:
1) To add Private and Public Education to Table of Uses (Civic Use Types) under Education;
AND
2) Adding to the Civic Use Types under Education, clarifying the Education definition concerning home schooling of children on site and adding the definition of Private and Public Education

What: Public Workshop about proposed amendments to Chapter 110 Development Code, Article 302 Allowed Uses and Article 304 Use Classification System
When: Wednesday May 9, 2018, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Where: Mount Rose Conference Room (Room A265); Second Floor, West End, Building A
Washoe County Administration Complex, 1001 East Ninth Street, Reno
The Washoe County Community Services Department’s Planning and Building Division is hosting a public workshop regarding proposed amendments to Washoe County Code Chapter 110 (Development Code) relating to:
Article 302- Allowed Uses, to add Private and Public Education to Table 110.302.05.02 Table of Uses (Civic Use Types) under Education. Click HERE to access the Draft Ordinance;

Article 304 - Use Classification System, to add definition of Private and Public Education to Section 304.20, Civic Use Types. Click HERE to access the Draft Ordinance.
Washoe County staff will be available to discuss the proposed amendments until 6 p.m.
Following public input, the amendments will be discussed by the Washoe County Planning Commission. The public hearing is tentatively scheduled for June 5, 2018 starting at 6:30 p.m.
