Washoe County employees, community leaders and media invited to new event
Reno, Nev. Oct. 12, 2017. Taking the place of the traditional State of the County event and turning it into a new event that highlights county employees and the stellar programs that impact our community, is the concept for the new event: the 2017 Washoe Impact Awards.
County Manager, John Slaughter and Commission Chair, Bob Lucey, will be sharing highlights of the work done over the last year as guided by the Washoe County Strategic Plan. They will also present three awards for county programs that have gone above and beyond serving the community.
