Holiday Closures
On Wednesday, December 24, all libraries will close early — at 4 pm — except the Gerlach Community Library, the Verdi Community Library and Nature Center, and the Duncan/Traner Community Library, which will be closed all day, and the Senior Center library which will close at its usual time of 1 pm. All Washoe County Library locations will be closed Thursday, December 25, for the Christmas holiday.

You are invited to attend the Washoe County District 2 Forum hosted by Washoe County Chair Bob Lucey on June 29 hosted at the beautiful Bartley Ranch Regional Park. The event will include a discussion on public safety, fire and related services. Commissioner Lucey invited representatives from the Washoe County District Attorney's Office, Washoe County Sheriff's Office, Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District and Washoe County Community Services Department to join him at the event and answer related community questions.
