Media invited on two-stop tour with Governor Sandoval and elected officials to view damage.
Reno, Nevada. Jan. 9, 2017. Governor Brian Sandoval will join Washoe County Commission Chairman Bob Lucey, Reno Mayor Hillary Schieve, Sparks Mayor Pro Tempore Ron Smith and other officials today, Monday, Jan. 9, 2017, at 12:45 p.m., for a two-stop tour of flooded areas in Washoe County.
Gov. Sandoval and the regional group will begin the ground tour at the entrance to the SouthEast Connector at Sparks Boulevard and Greg Street. From there, he will complete the tour in downtown Reno at Arlington Ave., and First St.
Members of the media are invited to meet the group at the entrance to the SouthEast Connector at Sparks Blvd, and Greg St., at 12:45 p.m., for the beginning of the tour.
Interviews with Governor Sandoval and other elected officials will be available at the end of the tour in downtown Reno.
