Holiday Closures
On Wednesday, December 24, all libraries will close early — at 4 pm — except the Gerlach Community Library, the Verdi Community Library and Nature Center, and the Duncan/Traner Community Library, which will be closed all day, and the Senior Center library which will close at its usual time of 1 pm. All Washoe County Library locations will be closed Thursday, December 25, for the Christmas holiday.

Community Christmas Garage Sale and Fundraiser Saturday, Dec. 3, 2016.

Reno, Nevada. Nov. 28, 2016. This Saturday, you have an opportunity to purchase creative Christmas gifts for family and friends all while supporting the Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District’s Palomino Valley Volunteer Fire Station. There will be great deals on Christmas gifts at the garage sale. A few of the featured items for sale include holiday decorations, jewelry, books, sporting goods and so much more.

Buy raffle tickets for some awesome prizes and win cash in the 50/50 raffle.

After shopping, you can pickup important fire safety and emergency preparedness information, smoke alarms and ash cans.
