Washoe County Solid Waste Management Plan update

The Washoe County Waste Management Program has written a solid waste management plan and is seeking public comments and offering free workshops.

The Washoe County Health District Waste Management Program is updating the Washoe County Solid Waste Management Plan (The “Plan”) and is seeking public comment. The Plan is updated every 5 years contains information about the current solid waste management system including trash and garbage removal, recycling collection systems, combatting illegal dumping, waste reduction strategies and other pertinent solid waste or recycling topics. Public comment will be open through October 14, 2016.

There will be two public workshops held at the Washoe County Health District complex at 1001 E. 9^th Street, Reno, NV.
