Paws 4 Love dogs and their handlers will meet the Sparks Justice Court judges.
Sparks, Nevada. June 7, 2016. You’ve heard the famous “No dogs allowed,” phrase but that won’t be the case at the Sparks Justice Court on June 8. Ten teams from Paws 4 Love are paying the Sparks Justice Court judges a visit. This is an opportunity for the Sparks Justice Court Judges Kevin Higgins and Chris Wilson to take a moment and thank the Paws 4 Love therapy dogs and their handlers for being so instrumental in helping ease the stress of the Court’s customers.
“Our customers can be plaintiffs, defendants, victims, witnesses or family members that find comfort in having a furry friend around. In one instance, we even had a dog accompany a child victim on the witness stand while testifying. The Sparks Justice Court welcomes these amazing animals and thanks them for the great comfort they provide at the Court,” said Sparks Justice Court Administrator Janine Baker.
The purpose of this meet and greet is to give the Paws 4 Love therapy dogs and their handlers an opportunity to formally meet Sparks Justice Court judges and to take photos for the Court’s webpage.
