Galena Creek Regional Park presents Galena Campfire Programs every Friday evening.
Reno, Nevada. June 3, 2016. Washoe County Regional Parks & Open Space is proud to bring back the popular Galena Campfire Programs series to Eagle Meadow at Galena Creek Regional Park this summer.
The nine week series features a range of musical genres, Cowboy Poetry, Historic Chautauqua, and informative educational programs. Bring the whole family out to see the entertainment and roast marshmallows under the stars at Eagle Meadow. Blankets, low-back chairs and flashlights are recommended.
The events are free to the public, though donations are encouraged. For more information, go to www.washoecountyparks.com or call the Galena Creek Regional Park office at 775-849-2511. Eagle Meadow is located within the north entrance to Galena Creek Regional Park at 18250 Mt. Rose Highway, above the Galena Creek Visitor Center.
