Holiday Closures
On Wednesday, December 24, all libraries will close early — at 4 pm — except the Gerlach Community Library, the Verdi Community Library and Nature Center, and the Duncan/Traner Community Library, which will be closed all day, and the Senior Center library which will close at its usual time of 1 pm. All Washoe County Library locations will be closed Thursday, December 25, for the Christmas holiday.

Reno, Nevada. Nov. 4, 2015. All veterans are welcome to join the Sun Valley General Improvement District and Washoe County Senior Services for the 6^th Annual Veterans Appreciation Breakfast Saturday, Nov. 7, 2015, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

A pancake breakfast courtesy of Washoe County Senior Services will be served following a short ceremony to honor veterans and active military.
