Registration Open for Gingerbread House Competition

Festival set for Dec. 12 at Wilbur D. May Museum

The 8th annual Gingerbread House Competition and Festival is Dec. 12 at the Wilbur D. May Museum and registration is now open.

Get ready to pre-heat the oven, pull out the cookie sheet and register. No experience is necessary. There will be eight categories this year and ribbons will be awarded for first, second and third place. A People's Choice Award will also be handed out.

Only 100 entries will be accepted. The registration deadline is Dec. 7. All entrants must turn in their gingerbread house by 10 a.m. on Dec. 12.

Where: Wilbur D. May Museum, inside Rancho San Rafael Park; 1595 N. Sierra St.
